From a musical family, Lydia has been making music for the better part of 30 years. She has had formal training in piano and voice, and sang in a church choir for 8 years as a child. She started playing guitar in high school, and more recently has begun playing the ukulele and mandolin. She has played live at the Tin Angel in Philadelphia, both solo and with a band, and her song "Cleo's Dream" aired on WXPN (the University of Pennsylvania's radio station), on the Sleepy Hollow program, in 2007. She is a member of ASCAP.
